I really like your shading and colour choices. They're all very striking and reminiscent of a nightclub-type environment, which is very appropriate considering that, well, it's Vinyl! This is definitely a unique take on what she would look like in a more humanoid form. I also like the use of the belts in this; I've never seen someone do it like this before, especially on something pony-inspired. That being said, I do see a few things you could improve on in this picture. for one, the anatomy could use a bit of work, specifically her torso. It seems quite long, especially her waist area. The location of her bellybutton is unclear; I'm guessing it's the thickest point on that line in the middle of her stomach? If so, it's quite far away from her crotch. I'd try to keep the distance slightly more than her hand length, and the distance from her hips to that level slightly less. I also think the line between her collarbone and her left shoulder (the one in the light) is a bit odd, but maybe that's just me. Her neck also seems a tiny bit long, but maybe it just looks like that because of the belt. The line between her boobs and her left shoulder could be a bit straighter. Lastly, the folds in her clothing don't follow her form, and diminish the sense of volume as a result. The sleeves aren't much of an issue, but the blue bit at her hips keeps throwing me off. Overall: The idea and shading are great. Anatomy's not bad, but could use improvement. Good attention to detail; I can faintly see the outline of her eyes behind her glasses!
I love Vinyl Scratch, and this looks incredibly professional, but I'm a little about her species. At 1st I almost it was meant to be her anthropomorphized, but apart from her ears and horn she looks entirely human. She lacks a tail, snout, and anything else that would be deemed horselike. At the same time she can't be human either because of her horn and ears. I she simply meant to be a hybrid? Despite this, it's an incredibly well crafted piece which clearly shows a lot of time and effort went into it. For future reference, I do think she's a bit too skinny, so if you end up doing another one of her you may want to fill her out a bit. Just a suggestion
Via previous reviews, I'm well aware of the anatomical probs here lol and I just her to be a humanoid unicorn, hands, but the horn, Ikept the ears as her hair would have looked odd without them. I DID actually draw a tail... and a DJ table but they magically got deleted and i gave up on those cuz redoin them would take too much time
I see. Yeah, it would suck to have to do those again, but I still really like it as it shows a huge amount of genuine effort, and you should be proud of it nonetheless. I'd definitely be interested in seeing another rendition of her, but this time including her tail and turntable. I also still think she's much too skinny, almost to the point of being skeletal (though her hips and legs are nice). She's basically the human equivalent of a horse, right? I think if you added a good 10-20 pounds to her frame she'd look great. Again, just a suggestion
No no, i totally already knew this, this why I DONT'T ink traditional work anymore Proportions are out of this world .___. so digital only, I'll def. add the tail cuz it's soo fwuffy And I am very proud it, at least her heard anyway, it's one of my favorite parts of all my galleries
